I am looking for information to transmission park release
procedure, I do not know from what year but mine (22year) do not have release lever .

I’m sure I read somewhere that there was a manual release cable that came up to a small lever under the engine cover. For recovery use.

Older year has manual release cable, that right but mine do not have .

I have access to the parts catalog, so I might have a look and see if the cable is still there.

I used my VIN MY23 and it is still there.

There is this link in the drawings, but in reality it is not. if you don't believe me you can go to your nearest dealer and get a hood new disco5.

OK, if you don't have the cable, do you still have the lever on the gearbox?

Only axle without the lever, you have to turn it and hold it because it is springy. You have to removing the cover under the gearbox in mud or snow .The whole difficulty is that you don't have easy access to it in emorgency case. Before it was you need only open the hood and pull cable.

I see. It's not ideal, really. I guess if you needed it recovered, it would either be lifted or dragged up on a flatbed.
