I have a 2019 discovery Sport. Love the vehicle. However recently the front offside parking sensor goes off at low speed when on slight right lock or stationary at a junction irrespective of whether there is another vehicle in the vicinity.
I have cleaned the sensor which has not cleared the problem. Doesn't look as though there is any moisture in the unit.
Contacted my local dealer whose reply was you'll need to book in for a diagnostic check. The quoted me £200 for this !!! Outrageous.
He said he was not aware of any problems on this subject which I don't believe.
How easy is it to remove a sensor and replace? Does anyone else have experience of this problem and how was it fixed.
Can parking sensors be switched off permanently.
My vehicle has only done 27000 miles.
