IPhone connectivity

When I connect my iPhone to the car I get the total “suggested contact” from the phone of which there are over 1000. The phone shows the contacts that I want but when connected to the car I get this huge list.
It doesn’t happen when I connect to my other car. Anyone know why this is happening?
