3rd Row Seat not folding

Hi, I am new to the discovery forum and have experienced some problems with my discovery.

Its a 2019 HSE vehicle with the electric seat folding and its highly temperamental. Sometimes the switches on either side in the 2nd row pillars do fold the 2nd and 3rd row seas an sometimes not. Furthermore, the middle row doesnt all ways latch in place and begins sliding randomly.

But the strangest problem is when i use the boot switches for the seats and the 3rd row seat will start folding without folding the headrest first resulting in it colliding with the 2nd row. I have to keep retracting it and then trying again and after about 4 to 5 attempts it folds perfectly fine.

Does anyone know what the issue might be? Trying to avoid getting hit with a massive bill from LR dealer!

On a side note, my car also has the deployable side steps and very occasionally they just refuse to come out on one side but they will if you close the door and open it again.

Any help is much appreciated !

Hi
Did you manage to get this issue fixed? I have a brand new Land Rover discovery, metropolitan and I too have electric seat issues. Row 2 won’t fold flat and row 3 won’t lift all the way up!!! It’s been at the dealers for almost 2 months.

Hi all, just picked up a Metropolitan 22 plate so warranty until March 2025.
I have the same problem. Only one third row seat responding from the infotainment screen, the other one has an exclamation mark fault over the top of it.
Buttons on second row and boot do work both but only intermittently.
Has anyone had any joy with LR sorting this out under warranty?
Hopeful of a response, or any wise words!!
