Hi. Got flashed earlier (steady) by a nice man who pointed out my spare wheel was falling off.

This can’t be right, can it? Car is about 2 months old.

Has someone been at it do you think?

I’ve been though the boot and the nut seems solid. What can I do to improve this?

Many thanks!

Sorted with a bit of elbow grease on the winch. Still be interested to know if you reckon someone’s been at it (or if it’s a bit crap and comes loose).

Hi Suiz never had mine come loose on any of my LR's and they have used the same fastening for years. I suppose its possible that it as been a bit scew wiff so appearing tight but now straightened itself and come loose.Have you got the latest anti theft plate fitted or better still one of Ray's? Might be worth your while if it has been tampered with they cost a arm and a leg to replace.

Cheers Craig! It's been stable since, so unless it goes wonky again I'll put it down to being something from the showroom.

No idea on the theft plates, looks like I have some research to do. It's the new model if that means anything there...

Then it will have the LR anti theft plate. So better than nothing.
