Infotainment update 4 - wish me luck

I have had nothing but trouble with the infotainment- locks up, won’t turn on, etc. the dealer said that the new software 4.0 was released solving 1100 known issues. Anyone get the update yet?

I actually ment which Infotainment system you got... Incontrol Touch? Touch Pro? Touch Pro Duo?

It’s for InControl Touch Pro.

Not 1100 bug fixes by any means but it’s a big update.

Mine got update 4 installed yesterday ... so far it seems ok - changes in the display thoughas only 3 squares rather than the 4

Got it today and seems to work well. In particular Spotify works as it should, screen looks very different, but nice and customisable

Anyone is aware how to hard reset or hard reboot the system?

New update seems hanging at Software Update on InControl Touch Pro

Hi - can you upgrade the infotainment system easily yourself? - if so how?, or is a visit to the dealer needed?
Also, how can you tell what version you currently have - I have a discovery 5 purchased March 2017.
