Newbie here. Just took delivery of an HSE and need to know the max rear axle load. Dealer cannot tell me and not in the manual, so I though maybe someone else has been down that rabbit hole?

Hi there, I have a 2021 Discovery which I bought purely to be able to pull a 3 1/2 ton trailer and carry 7 adults. I own a small marquee business and travel all over Scotland putting up marquees for weddings. We have 2 Ifor Williams trailers BV126, most weeks they are absolutely full...! Probably exceeding the maximum weight. On several trips, I have travelled over 100 miles with 7 adults in the car pulling a fully laden trailer with no issues.... my point is... I wouldn't worry about the weight on the rear axle. These cars are built to pull heavy weights... I pull a heavy trailer every week and never had any issues....
