Can anyone tell me if there is a setting within the navigation system to tell it that you are towing something?
Bearing in mind the towing capabilities of a Discovery I would have thought there would be a setting to stop the navigation system taking you down ridiculously narrow roads. My old Ford did.
I've just come back from Devon towing my caravan and had to turn the Sat Nav off in the end.

Unfortunately not. I’ve had exactly the same problem. All you can do, using the Land Rover online map link is pre-plan a route by forcing in waypoints. Like you I tow a caravan and I’ve actually bought a separate dash mounted satnav where you pre-load your caravan length and width and the dash mounted unit calculates the best route avoiding inappropriate roads. It’s not fool proof but significantly more reassuring than the Land Rover system
