Underbody protection anyone?

Has anyone fitted the OEM underbody front protection to a D5? https://www.lrparts.net/vplrp0254-disco ... rover.html
Not clear from the LR website whether this a cosmetic upgrade or something that does actually offer better protection for driving through woods etc
