I assume you are ALL on the rears only (as per the manual)

The Manual says full chains for 19" and 20" and half chains for 21"
I assume full chains means tradiitonal wrap around, and half means the thule Summit Series style that do not wrap around the back.

However, the Thule website does not list a 'full chain' for the Disco5, only half chain summit

Anyone running snow chains ?
Just need to understand if there is any issue

We're running this down in NZ and will have 30+ fitment days PA, allot of iced roads (not snow), i need this to be robust and straight frowrd for fitment, thus the strong desire for a full chain.

There are some USA and Canadian owners over on the other Disco5 site who might help?

Right, sorted I think.

After checking clearance, we have run with Thule / Konig XG12 Pro, size 267 for the 255/55R20

The Thule website said only the Summit series was recommended for the disco5, but the manual says 19” and 20” can take a ‘full chain’. We needed something robust as the Summit series wouldn’t last on the long gravel ski field access roads where we have black ice as opposed to allot of snow.

We’ve done a dry test for and 50m run down the road in the dry, so far so good. We’ll find out for certain in a month when we ship it to the ski fields where it typically gets 20 plus fittings per season.
