Had the same dilemma 12 months ago.. opted for Disco. Never looked back. Love it.
Also, Sport is now (a more) aging model.

Agree with Magpie. Had a Discovery Sport for three years and 4 months ago changed for a 9 month old Disco 5 Hse Luxury. Brilliant car. Just beware that if you like your text messages read out only the lower priced models will do that. I have had to install an ap on my phone for that to occur and it works but not as good as the system on the Disco Sport which i think the lower priced models have

i also agree with Magpie, my wife was so keen on the Range Rover Sport until we went to Marshals for a test drive in the sport until she set eyes on Disco 5, so we ended up with the 5, 3ltr d luxury with black roof rails, fixed side steps and privacy glass, she loves it.

It depends on what you are looking for. Or in other words, what your driving style is like.

If interior size doesn't matter (much), you should go for the RRS if you don't do a lot off-roading and if you like dynamic (sporty) driving. If you are a very relaxed driver and/or like to go offroad, take the D5.

Greets,

I have had 2 Range Rovers and 3 Range Rover Sports
I now have a fully loaded Disco 5. The car is brilliant. The software however is a nightmare!
