Don' bother with the electric one if you do a lot trailer changes as laying in the mud trying to plug in the electrics so low down is mad, plus it gets clogged up with mud. Who would have designed something so stupid for the only farm Land Rover available, when the all the other disco'have been at sensible height. Also twice mine has come unlatched with 3.5 ton on the back. I can't believe Land Rover designed this vehicle from the front door pillar back, I think it was designed by a competitor or somebody should be sacked.

Agree the socket is not in the best place. But never really liked that plastic cover on the D3/4. Took it off the day i bought it refitted on the day i sold it 3 years later. The brake away cable attachment point is even worse i had the car 6 months before i found it.
