Hi,

New to this forum, but have followed it for a while.

I'm just about to trade my 2015 DS 2.2 HSE Auto and factory order a D5 2L HSE.

I drove a D5 HSE and RRS on Honiton LR Experience half days, but prefer the D5.

I've also tried the F-Pace and RR Velar. The F-Pace was very nice, but the Velar was disappointing, pricewise, internal layout/space, and controls wise. The dual screen arrangement is not intuitive and the lower screen is too low and distracting.

Just borrowed a D5 for a couple of days to see if I could live with it, only an 'S' spec but am very impressed with the handling and comfort.

I was immediately at home in the D5, probably as the control layout is so similar to my DS. I love the higher driving position which makes the car easy to place on the road and instills confidence.
On order: D5 HSE 2L in Fuji with Light Oyster/Espresso interior. Driver Assist Pack. Technology Plus Pack. TR2. Heated Steering Wheel.

Hi welcome to the group
I had a similar experience
I had five cars on my shortlist and decided to hire each one for a few days and decide which one I liked the best.
A D5 was the second car I hired - I didn't hire anything after that, I knew I'd found my vehicle.
Cheers
