Incontrol Route Planner not working - CRC don't help!

so guys, an update from my end...

I sorted out a sim card and put that into the car. Then added my LR route account to my profile in the car. So now when I log into the LR routing site and search for and add a destination, I have the option when I start sat nav in my car, of using it! So the actual connectivity between account and sat nav works! Hurray!!

Plus, as of this morning, when I go to the services tab (where it would originally say I had no car added) - it shows up my VIN number and a list of optional maps I can purchase! (and also an update to the current one).

At last!

Thank you CRC, a bit like London Transport - you might take a while, but you get there in the end!

I too have the same issue with my 2018 Range Rover Sport HSE. First two months, the app worked fine, after that, when I try to log into the app, it tells me "can't find vehicle"
It works fine if I log in to the website: https://landrover.here.com. I can sync destinations with the car, see my journeys, etc, so obviously my car is connected, but the app won't work.
I called customer service 1 month ago, and they still were not able to fix it.

I am sorry to learn that you have experienced concerns when logging into your Incontrol account.

Should you require any further assistance please kindly PM me your vehicle identification number along with your full address and the email address that is linked to your Incontrol account.

Please could you also provide any screenshots of any error messages you may have received.

Same problem with my RRS route planner shows the car 25 miles from where it actually is, looks like a common fault

Same problem , I have discovery 2018 and the app says unable to connect and traffic info not available. I have tried multiple trouble shooting but nothing seems to work . I do not like land rovers anymore very annoying electrical integration is so poor . Customer service horrible nobody seems to know what to do . Going to change LR , never again

If you would like me to look into the concerns you have and attempt to resolve them then would you kindly provide me with the following information:

Your vehicle registration
Your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

Sounds to me like JLR need to spell out exactly how the software is supposed to be setup.
If some people have stuff working then all infotainment systems of the same type and age will also work.

We need a step by step.
Such as if you change your car you need to delete your account. (Ie. Deleting your car and putting in a new one on screen is possible but it won't work properly if you did it that way)

Very often you have to do things in order to get software to work, we get it. There's idiosyncrasies, fine then tell us step by step how to go about it.
I reckon if their top software bod would just sit down and write a list of "how too's" then a lot of bad feeling not to mention a lot of customer services calls would just go away.

Rant over, sorry guys I feel better now :D
