Ok, update, trying to be helpful. With the new Versatile Roof Rack, I had to get a box.

Plan A: After hours of searching I gambled on the Thule XL (L) Sport roof box. Whilst the pincers fit around the LandRover Versatile Roof Rack bars perfectly, because the bottom of Thule box is NOT flush, it won’t settle on the rack, and the pincers don’t reach. Aaaaargh. Would work on Landrover standard two cross bars (I’m sure?) but specifically not on the ‘Versatile Roof Rack’.

Plan B; I bought a Roof Top Bag, 50kg limit, from Maypole (Go Outdoors) 320L, hoping that would work. (Reference MP6639). I fits! So there you go, if you’re in a rush for a quick fix for less than £100 and can take 50kg- this bag might be for you.

I might get a custom made box for the Rack but for now this bag will do, see photos below!

I have Disco5 3.0 sd6 HSE MY2020 Bought it used approved 6 months old. Regulaly drive out to Belgium from wirral and only thing I have had fail is the electric front windows, I think the LR window mechanism are appauling quality. I have had both front windows fail. I bought an OEM mechanism for £40 of ebay and it was better quality. fitted it myself easily.
