Brains trust, my daughter is having problems with her 2018 2.0L ingenium D5 and has already run up over £1K in diagnostics fees, without an actual resolution, at her local LR dealer, I think in Taunton (she and the fam live in Devon). As warranty has expired I’ve suggested she find a decent LR indie to let loose on it - I know you have some real diamonds in the UK.

So far the symptoms are:
Diff (apparently) not locking
Car handles and rides badly and rolls more when cornering
No audible fault or warning sounds at all.

She had a cabin water ingress problem last year but that was all repaired and permanently fixed (took 1 month), no issues until now, and no visible water inside this time.
I wondered if her air suspension could be at fault?
Or could the diff lock problem, if it is real, cause such rough ride and handling?
I hoping somebody will have time to read this as I’m all the way over here in Oz and can’t help my eldest girl.
Car drives, though she having to be very careful, as she outlined in the attached chat:
Any assistance with the issue or in finding her a good local LR indie around the Tiverton - Silverton - Exeter area would be so very gratefully received.
Cheers, Steve.

Too many vw kombis to name 1967-2017, all gone.
2014 D4 SDV6 HSE, ‘the Batmobile’ - love it.
