Hi All
Hoping someone can help me please. I’ve just traded my DS for a proper Disco 5 and am struggling to hardwire my Garmin 56 dashcam.
I have the hard wired cable I used in my DS but am struggling to find which fuse points to use for Battery and Accessory in the passenger fuse box.
Anyone able to help?
Cheers

Hi, managed to feed mine behind the passenger glovebox and plug direct into the cigarette lighter, works and charges a treat. Believe it’s a switched supply.

Thanks Mark
Yes - that’s what I might have to do it’s just that with the hard wire option and picking up the switched and permanent live you then can use the parking mode on the dash cam to record whilst the car is locked.

It’s a good point you make about the parked up facility, I choose not to leave my dash cam in my car for security reasons so a switched live works fine for me. Good luck with your decision 👍👍👍

You've made me reconsider! Always worries me about the dealer tutting at the hard wiring when any work needs doing. I've hidden the cable as suggested and made use of the cigarette lighter in the top glove box.
Cheers!

Probably the best outcome. Good luck with your Discovery, they are a great vehicle 👍

Landrover frown on any modification to their wiring loom, they have enough excuses without discovering the looms been chopped Lol.
