I have a brand new Disco 5 Sdi 2-litre. A couple of times the infotainment system has failed to respond to the radio with a 'no reception' message. All other sources are fine. a reboot (turn off, wait 15 minutes then restart) sorts it out. Anyone else experienced this?

I've a few 'dead' spots around my area, where the radio (DAB) can't pick up any reception. Don't think the aerial/DAB receiver is that powerful TBH as my other car in the family doesn't have any issues around the same places.

I thought there was an option to auto switch to FM if DAB reception was poor?

If you have that switched on and still no reception it looks like a fault.

Not a genuine reception issue - turn off and reboot a little later and it's fine in the same area where previously it couldn't pick up anything - screen freezes whether DAB, FM or AM is selected...

Have you had the infotainment system updated to Version 3 yet?

Car was only built last month but I am getting the update status checked. It was a great enhancement to my Evoque...

Do you have 4 x 4i text shown in the tabs along the bottom or a mountain icon?

If you do not have a "mountain" then you are not in the latest.

Jimbg, an option to auto switch? Where about is that option? I can't see it.

It is in DAB settings under Media Settings under I think General settings. Not Audio settings!!

I have not personally checked out it's functionality as I have no problem with DAB.


Also you can see the Mountain icon that indicates V3 or later.
