I have this exact problem. But I’m now off to check for these FM settings, because mine didn’t appear to be able to receive anything but DAB. The D5 has much much poorer DAB than my previous BMW. But my wife’s 2011 base model VW Golf would get DAB on the moon. It’s painful that such expensive cars cant match on such basic technology.

Update; I found and changed the settings mentioned and my radio now works very well, even though it still says no reception! Thanks.

My first (and last) Discovery Sport. Sat Nav and infotainment something out of the arc! e.g. DAB, every time I leave (say) Cornwall to Devon, I lose the station I am listening to. Most radios (for years now) would auto tune oto the new ensemble. Whereas I have to manually enter the touch screen and select "rebuild DAB list " !! Apart from being highly annoying, it is also dangerous as one is not looking at the road. I could have beared it if I could auto tune the list from the steering column. But no! this antiquated clap trap doesn't allow that. So you'd think about changing presets from the steering column control - but NO again! only first page of 6 presets are able to be changed! Awful.

Imagine on a drive through the length of the country! It'd be maddening.

One thing I noticed, in my car manual under MEDIA/RADIO/DAB/SETTINGS it shows the following menu options:-

Radiotext
Alternative Frequency (AF)
DAB L-Band.

Whereas my car (and my pals) ONLY have Radiotext shown and available. I have contacted LR and no-one seems able to provide any idea or explanation or resolution. Any ideas anyone?
