Hi guys
Was due to pick my new disco up today, but had a call from the Dealer saying the windscreen had cracked ? Had been stood on forcourt ! Any thoughts

Something went wrong with glueing?

Bad luck! agreed, probably glues wrong and then when driven cracked due to the body flexing. A word of advice, when they do repair it check the rubber seals either side are glues firmly as mine has come away, common problem.

Hi all, this is interesting as my windscreen developed a 50cm long L shaped crack after one week of driving. The rubber seals on the sides had come away as well. The dealer insisted that a stone had caused the problem and my insurance coughed up the amount to have a new windscreen. And now they are changing the 2 lateral bars on the side of the windscreen.
PS: I am based in France
