Took the LR5 over Imogene Pass and Black Bear Pass in Telluride, Colorado. Definitely a capable off road vehicle.

Cool. What tires are you using?

I'm running the BF Goodrich T/A K02 275/55R20. They work well when you need a more aggressive tread.

Looking good as well! So they don't touch the inside of the wheel arch even though they are slightly wider and taller than factory ones?

They fit perfectly and required no modification with no rubbing off road, on road or dropped down to access height. Land Rover NA ran the Duratrac of the same size on their recovery vehicle during the D5 rollout (see photo). While it's a good all around tire, they are a rougher ride on paved roads and I wouldn't recommend them unless your off-roading demands a more aggressive tread.

Hi Shawn, great picture and very nice truck. I'm contemplating the BFG KO2 275/55R20 when my new Disco arrives in December as I need something more robust to handle the Aussie outback. I would appreciate if you could tell me whether you have a full size spare and whether it fits underneath with the BFG on.
Thanks

Hi Barry, yes, I have a full spare under the vehicle. Enjoy your new vehicle! The K02 has a larger circumference than the factory tire and your speedometer and odometer will be slightly off unless adjusted.

Perfect Shawn, thank you. It's always been a struggle with my D4 getting decent off road rubber to fit underneath - glad to hear the options have improved with the D5..

Cheers

Barry, I should note that my local Land Rover dealer recommended the Nitto Terra Grappler and it looks like a pretty solid tire. Best of luck!

Thanks Shawn, I have the Nitto TG G2 on my D4 and they are a decent tire but the carcass isn't as strong as the BFG and only average in the wet. Thanks for your help.
