Re: Help! leaking roof, 2018 Disco

I guess the only way you could go, is to threaten to go to the papers and car magazines? I had a friend here in the UK who had some problems with the build quality of a BMW M4 he'd bought from new. All the dealership was interested in was whether or not the car drove and just told him that he just n...

Me too!

If it were me i'd park the car outside the front of the LR dealership!

A car thats only just over a month old, i'd expect to have the dealership prioritise sorting this out. Don't take any excuses!

Re: Oil service @ 2,500 miles..??

Hi, welcome. search up Oil Dilution issues on the forum, I think I can say that perhaps 30/40% of owners have had this issue. Mine popped up after about 3000 miles. Its a known issue and theres a fix, plus your dealer has to honour it as a defect once they realise its a known issue. Heres the detail...

Re: Dual dash cam (Front & Rear)

Hi Sanjiv, i've had experience of Blackvue dash cams, unfortunately they weren't very good experiences. I bought a DR650 to put on my previous D4, however it kept telling me to format the SD card in it every other day (Even though I tried a number of different, Blackvue supported ones). I got terrib...

Re: Discovery 5 First Edition

Hi agarabaghi, yes I have the iPhone X and use all 3 InControl apps. Must admit I don't use the inControl Touch App much as I don't see much of a point as I have Apple Music and stream that from the phone. Theres been many issues that you will see on the forum, however I don't think most of them are...

Re: This quarters Map updates are now available

I totally agree with you BeachDisco, mind you the Tesla cars are sort of the most extreme 'connected' car you could compare the D5 against! It does seem very prehistoric when they tell you to download a file onto a USB and plug it into the car, especially when (apart from cars like Tesla's), you can...

Re: InControl Remote - Does yours work?

Fortunately my HSE doesn't have the seating control in the remote, so I don't have to worry about that part. Apart from the 'funny' issues I had with the Remote inControl app when it was cold last week (the cars stopped twice after 10 seconds when I placed my iPhone X into my pocket), i've not had a...

Re: Rear light and TPMS issues

Yeah, TPMS issues all over this forum. I've had many a time on a cold morning that i'm told that all 4 wheels are low... Only to wait until the sun warms the place up and all of a sudden they are all ok! I did dis the TPMS system, however it saved me from driving away once, when I had a real flat ty...
