Re: door lock cover
Hi spring1, no problem, my dealership is Harwoods in Basingstoke - 01256 630518. When the door cover fell off I called them first for a price, found out that it would be somewhere in the region of £45 including the painting of the cover, so argued that this was a part that hadn't been reglected by m...

Re: Should I cancel my D5 3L diesel HSE order and place order for petrol version instead?
I've had my 3.0 TDI HSE since last October. Yes, theres been a lot of issues around the oil dilution and I was indeed one of the people where my service indicator came up early. Having said that we are talking about a new model of car. I was also privileged to be one of the people who bought a Disco...

Re: TDI 3 litre fuel consumption
Hi all,
I have the added disadvantage with my 3.0 TDI HSE in that I seem to only do very short trips mainly. I'm averaging only 22 to 25mpg!
If I go on a longer trip, it does get itself up to around 35 to 38mpg.

Re: My 2017 Fuji white TD6, HSE Lux
Currently i've had to wipe off the mud and dirt from my registration plate at the back, as you can't actually see it! Plus wipe the lights and indicators too.
Hoping to get to wash the car next week, however I know it'll be back to the same in a few days!

Re: door lock cover
Hi spring1, yeah been there....
My dealership replaced them FOC, which included new ones that were sprayed. The new ones fit much better and don't move at all.

Re: My 2017 Fuji white TD6, HSE Lux
White is a lovely colour when its clean, and I guess you have the ideal weather in OZ most of the year. White just doesn't work here in the UK, had a white car a number of years ago and I ended up giving up with cleaning the thing! It was as if someone 'up there' was waiting for me to wash it, then ...

Re: InControl Remote - Does yours work?
Hi Bradpr, sorry that was a slip up - only 3G available on my 2017 D5. Sounds like 4G might be an option on the 2018 D5's

Re: Door Lock Covers - A very common issue that needs looking at
I went to my local dealership yesterday and they replaced my Lock covers under warranty, i'm not sure if they've changed the design, but these new ones are much tighter on the handles and don't give as much as the previous ones. Super glue is off the table at the moment as I don't want to force thes...

Re: InControl Remote - Does yours work?
After a few 'issues' with setting up the InControl route mapping side, all of my InControl stuff seems to be working fine (got my fingers crossed!). I must admit after all the problems i've had with my car, the InControl Remote part has never failed me. Always able to connect be it Wi-Fi or 4/3G, cl...

Re: Door Lock Covers - A very common issue that needs looking at
Hi all, ok I have an update already. My dealership has confirmed that, as long as there is no physical damage to the covers, they will replace them free of charge under warranty. They are ordering in 2 new ones, which they will paint and replace the ones I have with. A good result, however what to d...
