Re: HSE Infotainment system
Refuses to recognise the phone as a media device. Drops connection randomly (power goes and comes back), won’t connect to a phone for music and another for phone over Bluetooth. It’s fucked basically unless you connect ONE phone over Bluetooth.
The media ports are effectively useless.

Re: HSE Infotainment system
How come other manufacturers inc LR with the D3/4 worked fine with IPhones?. LR have built a new system that THEY can’t get to work. They just blame the easy target, the customers phone !!

Re: POOR RIDE AFTER 'UPGRADE'
Yes. And as you say, ICTP Phase 3 is nothing to do with the suspension. Maybe your dealer updated something else ? Did you ask them?

Re: POOR RIDE AFTER 'UPGRADE'
Not noticed any ride change after two Phase 3 updates myself. Not seen any TOPIx documents about air suspension updates either.

Re: Would your buy a Discovery 5?
Is buy it all over again yes. No big issues I’m aware of apart from the oil dilution and early oil service on the 3L engines ones. InControl Touch Pro is still a bit buggy but nothing major.

Re: Rear camera / parking sensor clash
No. Just the rear camera. Was crap before. Now it’s super fast (even works before the ICTP has fully started now) and stays on longer when manoeuvring.

Re: Rear camera / parking sensor clash
Car back. Rear camera so far seems faster to appear and had no failure to activate yet. Will let you know how it goes. To add - the update seems to have fixed it. Camera fires up fast and doesn’t now disappear as soon as you select D. Manoeuvres are now so much easier now I can see what’s behind me...
