Re: Oil change at 6800 miles
Hi When Landrovers were Landrovers, the handbook used to state that if the vehicle was operating in hot, dusty conditions then the service interval is less, also if you are wading often this also had an impact. I think that is a reasonable statement and does compare to driving style at least you can...

Re: Vibration between 80-110 kph / 50-70 mph
Hello
The Discovery 5 HSE Lux is more money than a RR Sport, so for a Dealer to use the excuse they all do that is not what you want to hear after parting with some £75,000 ??
I can't believe JLR has so called engineers that drive these vehicles and do not pick up on the issues ?

Re: Lack of members replying ???

So merry chr...

Re: Vibration between 80-110 kph / 50-70 mph
I have a similar issue with my Disco 2l HSE Lux, if you are driving in top gear at bet 1000 and 1500 RPM there is a definite roughness there, after about 1500 rpm it disappears, the easiest way I can describe, if you were in a manual car and in too higher gear, the engine is labouring, i kn ow you c...

Re: Loss of Electrical Power, Flat Battery & Gearbox Fault.
There was an issue with the earth lead from the batt to earth, the mounting was an issue and JLR bought out a modification, maybe worth checking the earth strap ??

Re: Arrow symbol
Hi Taylormade That symbol indicates that a download is in progress, I had the same arrow on my Discovery as there was a software update available, when I started the download the arrow appeared. Maybe a visit the your dealer is required, maybe the download is not complete and the vehicle is still tr...

Re: Dynamic HSE or HSE?
Hi Lewigreg This site is bloody useless, nobody bothers to reply anyway rant over. I have just bought a Discovery 5 HSE Lux, it seems as if JLR want to offer finance via a PCP deal, if you look at the difference in monthly payments it does not make financial sense, you get to the end of the PCP deal...
