Hi Mol I think you have probably posted in the wrong forum this is the Disco 5. Just saying as this may be something thats common to the Sport.

Not sure how that would cause the problem but we live and learn. If that is the fault (not surgesting otherwise) it demonstrates how difficult it is to fault find this kind of problem when something that you would imagine was totally unconnected to the original fault. Anyhow good to hear its sorted.

Yes I've seen a few post about a smell but mainly a burning smell. Have you posted on the disco5 forum might get a better responce?

Hi ESF i can't answer your question but i would certainly contact your dealer or land rover for clarification. Should you have a issue in the future im sure they would look very hard as to your service record.
