Re: Ad Blue and Service Plan

@ v2cjb. Similar to you I'm about every 18 months. Although aside from the issues I quite like the disco so if it all gets fixed I may give it to my wife eventually and chop her car in. I have to say I have considered getting something cheap like a Dacia and just scrapping it every year for a new on...

Re: Oil change at 6800 miles

If Stratstone aren't aware of the fixes tell them to speak to the After Sales Manager at Guy Salmon Portsmouth. He was really helpful and knowledgeable.

Re: Oil change at 6800 miles

@Ian c see my last couple of posts under the AdBlue and Service Plan thread in this section. AdBlue and Oil Change are known issues and a software update has been released. The post also explains about some other issues they are aware about that are being fixed. Hopefully it will sort all your issue...

Re: Ad Blue and Service Plan

For me this relates to my 3.0 first edition. Not sure about everyone else though.

Re: Ad Blue and Service Plan

@v2cjb I had a CLS 63 AMG before this and it was a great car. Absolutely bulletproof. I'm thinking of getting the new e63 as my second car for a bit of fun. Either that or the top end Caterham. My issue on that front at the moment is my wife who says that we don't need 3 cars between us. I offered h...

Re: Help!!! Quality issues...

If you want to see a list of problems that 100% demonstrate the poor build quality look in the technical and faults section of this forum and see my posts there or check out my twitter @AdamKeefe Sadly as nice as the car is to drive when you first get it, the quality of the car is sub standard and c...

Re: First Edition

Did they check why your service light came on early? Mine just came on last week at 6500 miles saying service due in 1900 miles. At 6800 it said due in 1450 miles. I took it to Harwoods Pulborough and they said it needed an oil change unfortunately not covered by the service pack either as it's not ...

First Edition note

Just to point out that the First Edition does not have a front passenger memory seat, just a standard electric seat. Not a massive issue for me but she was disappointed. I didn't spot it when ordering and just presumed that type of thing would be standard on a £70k car especially as it is on my wife...

Oil change at 6800 miles

Has anyone done 6800 miles or more and if so have you had to have an oil change yet? My service message came up saying a service was due in 1900miles. I was at 6500 miles at the time. At 680 miles it said service due in 1450 miles. I called Harwoods Pulborough and booked it in. They ran tests and sa...

Re: Ad Blue and Service Plan

The dashboard said service due but when Harwoods investigated it further they said it was just an oil change and therefore doesn't count as a service hence the charge. Over the weekend the wheel arch actually fell off whilst parked. I'm guessing the sticky pads gave out in the heat. In some respects...
