Re: Detachable Towbar info - Dealer & Factory Fit

Do you have the bits in the picture below with yours? Yes, I have all those parts. Pics are below. The lock cover was on when I picked the car up (after having the towbar fitted) so I've always used that. The other two parts (1 and 2) have just sat in the tray as I had no idea what they were and I'...

Re: Detachable Towbar info - Dealer & Factory Fit

I’ve just had the manual detachable towbar fitted by the dealer to my 2018 HSE Lux. I’m of the opinion that the wrong bumper cover has been ordered / fitted. As mentioned above I had the towbar fitted 9 months after having the car and they made the same change to mine as yours. Following my post ab...

Re: Detachable Towbar info - Dealer & Factory Fit

I had mine fitted 9 months after having the car and mine was changed too. I have the original as a souvenir in my garage. Every car I know that has the detachable tow bar has the same grey piece with the small detachable section so it is the correct one.

Re: Stolen spare wheel

Hi, I have a D5 MY18 and from TOPix see that the N071v3 is still an Outstanding Campaign for my vehicle. The sales manager says he spoke to the technician that did the work and that they completed the job but haven’t updated the system yet. Having looked underneath there appears to be the wheel and...

Re: Stolen spare wheel

I've had a spare wheel protector from RLD since July last year. Last week the car went in for it's first service and they replaced it with the LR plate. They left the RLD one in the car, and I've left the LR one on since last week but as mentioned above I don't feel it is as secure as you can still ...

Re: Detachable tow bar

Hi there, I bought a used Discovery 5 in November on the basis that the dealer fitted roof rails and a detachable tow bar before delivery which they agreed to do. The roof rails weren’t a problem but the car arrived without the tow bar and 2 months later they say they are still waiting for the part...

Re: Land Rover Customer Relationship Centre

Hello Amelia Thank you for your post. I echo the comments above regarding the early oil change. Oil was required after around 6,000 miles and whilst it was done under warranty, it is still a hassle and wasted time getting the car in etc. Particularly if this is going to happen every 6,000 miles. Als...

Re: Ad Blue and Service Plan

Did it take all 10 litres when it said 1500 miles left? Did you then have to reset a light or did the message just stop displaying?
