Re: Sensor Fault
Hi - This may be irrelevant but it sounds like a very similar fault which I had on my Range Rover Sport (2007). I think that it was referred to as the Christmas Tree of Death due to the way the dashboard lit up with warnings and basically, most functions were disabled leaving it in limp home mode. F...

Re: Spare wheel protector
I have an early D5, delivered March 2017. When I put the car into to the dealership for updates, they contacted me during the day and asked did I mind if they didn't do the spare wheel security update as my RLD device was much better. Of course, I stuck with what I had already purchased. I have no i...

Re: Dan@Adrian Flux - Insurance
A brief word to all. Please be aware that many motor insurance policies ignore the true principles of indemnity and reserve the right to use non-original manufacturer's parts in repairs. If you're happy with this and its potential effect on your warranty, no problem - but it's worth considering befo...

I quite like the idea of a golden retriever who smokes a pipe and wears tartan slippers.

Re: door lock cover
Having had my car since March last year and never having touched the cover, I have been sitting smugly watching this thread, thinking "My lock cover's fine". Today, whilst sitting in a coastal pub in Merseyside with the car parked outside, the wind caught it and took it away. Luckily, I fo...

Hi Amelia
I'm really impressed that Land Rover is participating in this Forum. I think it's a very smart move and a good way to keep in touch with opinions.
Thank you - Chris

Re: 3rd row seats
3rd row seats fold flat to form a flat load bed when they're not in use. Best to make sure the 2nd row seats are out of the way, then push them fully back.

Re: MPG
Following up on my earlier post... Round town, still getting 31.3mpg. First long run today, Wirral to Essex. I reset the meter at the beginning of the trip and, by the time I hit the Highways England - induced 5 mile tailback on the A14, it was showing 50.8mpg. The best I ever got with the RR Sport ...

Re: Driving abroad
From owner info/landrover on line
"DRIVING ABROAD
The headlights have a beam pattern that eliminates the need to mechanically adjust the lights or add any external stick-on decals."
Hope this helps. I'm still finding new things.
