Re: Poor Ride Quality - 20in Wheels & Goodyear Tyres
I have an Si6 with 21 inch wheels. I always replace the tyres with Michelins, They grip, ride and last longer and are worth the extra money, in my view. I do find the suspension harder than my old Disco 3, but it also feels less like a boat!

I would not change my Si6 for a diesel, it is dream to drive and has the grunt to overtake. Cleaner than the diesel too. Marvellous engine.

Re: Hi from Dubai......
Hi I have had my Si6 for just over a year now. I absolutely made the right choice going for the supercharged petrol engine. It makes me smile whenever I drive. I average about 20 mpg. About 25 mpg on the motorway. Is it worth the extra running cost? Absolutely and no fiddling Adblue and diesel annoy...

Has anyone changed a wheel?
The LR5 jack is better than the LR3 but still not great the ring thingy you are supposed to use to turn the jack is really hard to keep turning with the silly little cross piece. I know, in mist circumstances you would call LR Recovery or the RAC/AA etc. But I was in a hurry had a flat on the drive ...

Hi Matt, Mine still has scorpions on. I have always bought replacement tyres from Michelin as they last a lot longer. Previously I could only get 12K out of Scorpions and about 30K out of Michelin. When the time comes I will have to shop around and see what others are finding with mileage. In recent...

Do you get the rev counter needle sort of wavering, rather than steady?
I had this on my previous TDV6 and it was an issue with the oil in the gearbox. It only happened at certain speeds around 50 was one.

Re: White Residue on Bonnet Lining
Hi Ben, I have been thinking about your problem. It looks to me that the screen washers have had a problem that hose and cable should not be exposed. I was wondering whether there is a leak and the concentration of the screen wash is a bit strong. Some screen washes have a residue of soapy substance...

Hi Matt, I bought mine from Guy Salmon in Bristol, I live in Northamptonshire and so had the joy of the pick up and drive back and I did motorway and country roads around Oxford. I averaged 24 mpg on that trip. Since then I have been to Cambridge to go to a hospital appointment and the rest local. I...

Discovery Si6 with added door trim
I took a gamble and bought some stainless steel door sill inserts from Ebay. A lot of this sort of thing is not well made. Well these are. Not cheap, but quality without compromise and highly recommended. I was so pleased I gave the seller permission to use my photos https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-...
