Re: Easy Access
Thank you. When the steering column control knob is turned it switches the easy entry on or off. I must have turned it on accidentally.

Easy Access
My 2017 Discovery 5 has started to lower the seat and raise the steering wheel when the door is opened. This, apparently is 'Easy Access' and I should be able to switch it on or off but 'Easy Access' is not in the driver assistance menus. I'm not sure that this was ever available on this vehicle. It...

Re: DIY oil change
My car was serviced at 13500 miles. The next oil service was due at 19850 miles. After driving for approximately 2000 miles after this service the car indicated that an oil change was due at 18400 miles. So I felt that something was amiss. Then the In Control app indicated that a service was due. I ...

DIY oil change
I m thinking of doing an intermediate oil change on my 2017 2.0 diesel. Land Rover will pay for scheduled oil changes which is fine but for well under £50 I could do an intermediate oil change myself to ensure that the dilution is well under 6.1% . Shell Helix 0W30 meets the specification STJLR.03.5...

Re: DEF Fluid usage
Well I’ve got the opposite problem. My Discovery 5 2.0 HSE appears to use no Ad blue. It currently says refill in 5778 miles but it’s been stuck on that for weeks regardless of the mileage I do. Any thoughts?

Re: Battery and fuse access
Thank you jimbg. It all seems straightforward but far from it. There is a plastic slider which is very difficult to locate and it doesn't have anything on it which you can actually grip to pull it towards the rear. However, with bleeding hands , I eventually felt something move and then teased the s...

Adblue top up
I bought 10litres of adblue and the bottle needed to fill the adblue tank. Even though the main adblue tank was far from full with 4000 miles remaining, only a small amount of blue was taken into the system when I locked on the bottle and pushed it down. I filled the adblue tank on my Discovery Spor...

Battery and fuse access
I have a Discovery 5 2.0 HSE and would like to remove the panel on the right hand side wall of the boot to access the battery and the fuses. The handbook says remove the small cover where the jack is stored then move a slider on the top of the battery panel to the right and pull out the panel. I can...
