I have a set of covers from Individual auto design.co.uk. They are excellent and it is difficult to recognise that the seats have covers. Not easy to fit but they will fit for you.
I had LR covers on earlier cars, they were absolutely rubbish.

Re: Electric lower tailgate failed
Turns out that the hinge has snapped, apparently due to small stone dropping down onto the hinge. The has now happened twice and LR are not interested,,no surprise. The hing is a casting that is just not man enough. Next time I will have a hinge made up in stainless, will be cheaper.

Re: Disks and pads
Just replaced the discs and pads all round as discs worn at 5000 miles. Land Rover discs are too expensive..ditto pads.. get Bembro or other good make at half the price.

Re: Access to Internal Lower tailgate
I have the hinge snapping twice now. Assume it was due to small stone dropping down the gap and jamming the joint.
At least this is what the workshop thinks. Referred to Land Rover but they were not interested . Next time I will have one made in stainless, it will be cheaper!

Re: Discovery 5 AT tyres
I have fitted General Grabber AT3 tyres and am very pleased with their performance especially on wet grass. You will have a little more road noise but otherwise I have had no problems and will buy again in due course. I know these are not mud plugging tyres which are very noisy. Following other 4 X ...

Re: Electric lower tailgate failed
My tailgate lower section moves outward when closing the tailgate. This then fouls the lowering top gate which then reopens. I can push the nearside end of the lower tailgate back uptown the hing and then it can be closed manually. On reopening again the lower tailgate moves away from the hinge and a...

Re: Auto opening tailgate
My Discovery 5 has constant tailgate problems. Gesture opening just makes you look stupid but I want it to work as I frequently carry goods to put in boot. The worst fault is the intermittent tailgate closing. My daughter and my self both hit on the head.If you are placing something inside boot i int...
