The wheels will cost you for an unmarked set. The black pack, if you mean side vents, lettering and grille is easy enough, just a gentle prising of tabs etc. on the whole. I have no love for the firm, but in my opinion you cant blame JLR for the theft of the spare wheel nor is it an issue of vicarious liability. There is basically no difference between a TD and a SV. It’s all to do with branding and names.

If you want to play it safe, go for the 2lt. Still a good engine without any questions that hang over the 3lt.

In essence, no. The warranty will be invalid if it’s hardwired and something to do with the electrics plays up. They will automatically void it until you remove hardwire and then it becomes in warranty again. I know, I ended up with this problem and it caused me a lot of grief. The dealership and LR...
