Re. “Map database upgraded”... actually maps are updated on a monthly basis and are free for the duration of the car’s warranty period . You just need to set up an account and have a USB stick to download the latest map from the route planner portal and install via car USB port.

In the same boat. Later models have 4G and also ability for OTA software updates.

Problem is you have to do that every time you get in the car.. get a fixed no contract data sim.

You do get Connected Services (including Traffic) for free for 3 years.. but JLR does not provide the data connection..(apart from USA), frustrating I know... so you need to buy a data SIM card... I bought mine from Amazon..

Have you bought a data SIM card? You need not o enable all the connected services (for Nav features)

Had the same dilemma 12 months ago.. opted for Disco. Never looked back. Love it.

No, you need to go to the dealer. If you have a March 17 car, take it in. They will update under warranty and there are massive improvements..

Hi, It is a simple fix. There is an audio guidance mute button (on/off) is in the Nav menu. Regarding the “add waypoint” the Nav system is currently in guidance mode to another destination which you have not yet reached. Go to the Nav menu and select Stop Guidance... you can then add you new destina...
