Low Fuel Alert

Hello All - Just looking for advice on how much fuel is actually available in reserve when the low fuel warning illuminates. The "miles left to empty" on last fill showed just 46 miles, suggesting approx. 2 gals. Our last LR - Disco Sport - had such a high reserve on the alert setting that the software had to be adjusted to correct and make it more realistic. Can the Disco 5 software be similarly adjusted, but the other way, to raise the remaining fuel quantity to make it safer? This current threshold leaves you at risk of running out of juice if you find yourself a long way from civilisation. Any comments? Regards P6TEF
